Decorah Eagles 2022
« on: January 01, 2022, 07:03:44 AM »

Well, it's 2022 - Let's get on with a good year!
Happy New Year Lisa and anyone else on early this morning.

And that special Hau'oli Makahiki Hou to Lani.

Another special one for those who celebrate Feliz Navidad.

As soon as I finish my morning tea and toast - I'm going to open a final, last bottle of Gancia.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL  -  Enjoy!

P

Happy New Year to you, too, Lisa. Healthy and safe is the best wish possible for all our Forum friends in 2022.

Rewind to just daylight to watch a squirrel visiting N1. Otherwise, things are very quiet and cold and snowy.

Mom flew from the hatchery to her regular eating perch (I forget what it's called), but then soon flew to N1 where she quickly ate it.  From there to the Y where she was joined by DM2 and mating ensued.  Sure looks cold and gloomy there today.

I have been gone all day, and just got back.  Such a nice surprise to see Mom & DM2 visiting when I opened the thread.

Wonderful pics, Ginger! :)

Thanks, Lisa.  It was nice to see a visit from both where we could get a close-up view.

Since I missed the visit and all the action earlier, I was just going thru rewind. I love how Mom & DM2 are looking at each other on the Y.

Mom really is a mega-rich real estate magnate! Three homes. Private, trout-filled lake and stocked, spring-fed creeks all with seasonal water fowl. Small mammal enclaves. And she has a handsome, attentive, second mate. You go girl! :-*

Zowie, things really heated up at N1 and the Y around noon!

Ginger and Lisa, great pics. Cam ops -- great work for closeups.

On the rewind, there's a really good fly-in of the Canada geese as they start to gather on the retention pond.  Probably several fly-ins, I didn't look at all of the video.

A few pics from Decorah this morning - The resident aquirrels on N1, DM2 paid a visit and it looks like he might have been above N1, and love when the sun is shining on the snow, so pretty

Good morning to all even though zero degrees, the squirrels are out. Great sunny pics Lisa.  By the time I tuned in, Mom was in her Maple.

A couple of big birds were soaring over the retention pond before the cam ops spotted Mom on M2.
