That was nice to see!  Thanks for the look-see.  You've all been busy little bees - albeit big busy bees.   :P  Almost as busy as the squirrels.  Waiting on the couch for October 8.  Thanks for all the work.

Hi Puff <3     You're right about that!  Looking forward to that camera return so I can return to the confusion couch!  ;) ;D

I camped on my buddy Rick's place before labor day and just got back from camping in Colorado (Cache La Poudre) and at Devil's Tower, Wyo.  Fishing for trout was good on the Poudre, (big browns)....I might have to bring my rod next time.  :)  Just laying in my bag at night, feeling the ground vibrate from the river tumbling next to me.....can't get that in Iowa.  Unless maybe you live in Decorah!  8)
Anyways....I digress!  I heard about these guys that fish North Bear  Creek after dark to catch the big ones (the natural browns in North Bear) and unless it was just "a fish story", I'll have to listen more carefully at night when I have the North Nest on cam after dark.  And maybe RRP can get a night vision camera!  ::)

AWESOME to see the pics of work at DNN by the intrepid RRP crew!  October 8 will be here before we know it.  Great to see MrN, and aren't we all delighted that he seems to approve of the additions and changes.

Question:  In the bottom-up view of the nest and new cam, which nest limb is the Ladder Branch?

One of those branches coming out on the left.  I'm voting for second one down.  Hope I'm right on which one is the ladder branch cuz I don't have my Perch Nomenclature Merit Badge yet!  :)

STL - I am just trying to picture in my mind what the nest looks like on cam, so I want to say looking at the nest from the bottom the ladder branch is the one on the right.  I think the one the left they might call the baby sitting branch.

Don't quote me, tho! I bet Ginger would know for sure!

Welcome back everybirdie!  So good to see the North nest and the valley.  Many critters are there to greet us.  No eagles on view today by 4:00, but wait until tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.    :D

The camera views are really awesome, just as RRP announced.  I haven't spotted the new cam view, but several new places are pixelating.  And the sound, oh my, you can hear every leaf rattle, and maybe the gurgling creek.

Yes, Shep, it is so good to be "live" again at DNN.  The early eagle is DNF (according to Ginger52) and the noon eagle is MrN. It's great to see BEs here.

Loving the new camera views from the south-west side near the nest, looking toward the north.  Did I get the location & directions correct?  And only one new camera or more -- must review the report from RRP.

STL - Great pics!  I had to go back and check too on the cams.  I found this in the most recent Facebook post by RRP.

Decorah North: We cleaned cameras, added a new camera, and replaced an old camera.

Lisa, thanks for the update on DNN cameras.  Can you tell who the adult BE in the pics is?

STL -- your top pic (of BE on BPT) is DNF.  The bottom pic is Mr. North.  He perched on several different trees.  I think the pic you have is when he perched on the tree next to the Scary Tree.  After that he flew to the Pitchfork Tree (next to the Spit Tree) and then the Spit Tree and finally BPT.

There are now 5 cams.  Three cams on the nest tree, one cam on the right side of the nest (right side as we face the stream), and then the pasture cam.
