My favorite today (so far) is the Eastern Wood Peewee at about 12:30 PM, in the tall wildflower patch and dead logs nearby under the nest. And the red squirrel is really enjoying the lazy life in and under the nest.
There was an interesting spider for just a few seconds, but I didn't get a pic, and now I can't find it on the rewind. Ah well, I'm not as fond of spiders.
No eagles in view from mid-morning to almost 5:00 as I post here. Lots of crows cawing out in the pasture and hayfield beyond. And the cattle herd in the pasture and the creek from about 3:00 (no pic).
