Yesterday got past me without time to upload pics. Workers at my house who needed my supervision, then some errands to run.
The cam ops gave us some good closeups of the DNs, and DNF brought a fresh-kill raccoon at about 5:00. I was really taken by the difference in size between DN15 and DN16, as shown in one pic.
During one of the times both were on the nest, resting after working on that really long, jointed fawn leg, DN15 picked up a stick and placed it on DN16's back. She left it there until she flew off the nest. Early on Tuesday at Decorah, the male BE placed sticks on his own back, and Lisa posted a pic of that. "Stick-Wearing Day"
