DN15 fledges!!! - DN15 flies out left of the nest, and looks like he may have circled back.  A few seconds later, you can hear something crashing in the trees above.

A beautiful fledge.  You could sure tell that he was ready to go this morning.  He fledged at 77 days old.  I don't think the gnats affected when he fledged.  Here's a video from GABear.

Woo Hoo!  Kudos to DN15 for a beautiful fledge this morning, and thanks to everyone for pics and videos!    ;D

I agree that it sure sounded like there was a fly-around with a landing somewhere above and near the nest, like right by the microphone.  We'll see if DN15 comes back to the nest for food.  Meanwhile, MrN brought a fish for DN16 and looked around for DN15 before flying away.

Just went back and looked at the rewind.  Did sound like he had a hard landing and judging from N16 reaction it looks like he landed above and to the right.  I hope he is OK.

Most certainly Lisa.  He's got the higher voice, literally and figuratively!  :) ;)

I think I heard him too.  I feel sorry for DN16.  He keeps calling.  >:(

The cam ops have found him.  He is in the top of the tree slightly left of center.  You can see him flapping around.

BL that was a text book take off.  It is the landings that are the problem.  LOL.  Maybe those obnoxious crows will get him out of the tree.
