Evening at the North nest and area. Seems to be a peaceful time.  Lucky for the cam ops to find the brown thrasher. Beautiful bird and pretty rare in the suburbs, but common in farming and pasture open areas.

Do thrashers migrate?
I get a pair in my back yard yearly.
I see them - then not for another year

Love TRUTH even if you dont like it

Hey Shep, yes brown thrashers migrate, specially in the northern states.  See AllAboutBirds for details.

Pretty sky-blue-pink dawn today, and one pic from early fish feeding.

Golden daybreak at North's valley.  DNF brought a very large, very floppy fish (see blurry pic), MrN wrangled a large stick in the pasture, then moved to a clump of grasses.  More fish, more grasses, happy eaglets.  Last pic is MrN and DNF at the creek just before the color cams came on.

STL - Thanks for the DNN pics!

I have missed those guys the past couple days watching MG & the goslings!

Lisa, I know what you mean. I've watched the Decorah site more in the last couple days than in the past year or two.  And we're watching Canada Geese!

The eaglets here at DNN change so fast now, every hour seems something new.  The color differences are really strong now.

Fish drop by MrN, and DNF had comments to make.  She also looks like she's been interacting with something gory.  A creek bath will take care of that.

SEDs to everybirdy.

Early morning pics.  DNF hasn't had a bath yet; her face is still bloody (not hers).

The cows at North valley are giving birth at this time of year, so lots of cowghetti for the eaglets and parents.  Makes for some bloody-looking beaks, as on DNF at about 3:00.
