Changeover at 11:00.  No eggs on view, but good pic of DNF and MrN.

Thanks, Lisa. Fly-ins and fly-outs are my favorites, until the eggs hatch!

Pretty sunrise today, warm temps, quick view of one egg at the 6:30 to 7:00 changeover this morning. Perching, flying on the rewind.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everybirdie

MrN treated us to a view of both eggs this morning!  They are closer to the top of the nest bowl now that the weather is warmer.  Not so long to hatching time.   ;D

Both eggs in view this morning, about 9:30 AM.  It's cold with rain/sleet/snow.  Now and then, DNF tilts her head and looks down at the nest bowl, as if she's listening to something. Maybe the eggs are talking to her -- or is it still too early?  Could be the sparrows that inhabit the nest basement.

Quick changeover at about 10 AM.  Hawk perched near the nest, and MrN can be heard objecting.

A few morning pics from DNN - Mr North catching some Zzzz, and Mr North around 10am.

STL -- that Hawk flew over Mr. North before it perched.  This was the best pic I could get as the hawk was just a blur, although you can see some of its barred feathers.  Mr. North did a good job of defending.

Here's DNF rolling both eggs at 4:00 this afternoon.  Still cold, wet, kinda sleeting.  Bet the eggs wish they were still way down deep in the nest bowl!

STL - That's a great pic of the eggs.

Mine didn't come out that good, but at least we got to see some eggs!

Lisa, in your second pic, DNF definitely is smiling! She knows what is to come soon.
