Ginger, thanks for "being here" at the Forum again!  Camera info helpful as we re-orient to the new views.  And great to have the ID on eagles today.  I will re-label my pics.

MrN and DNF were on the nest together before daylight this morning!  Then perching nearby and also at the creek.

The new cam gives us a better view of sunrises this season.

Will be good to get a closeup view of both DNF and MrN to reestablish who is who.  Hint, hint to the cam ops.    :)

Thanks, Lisa.  You'd think we never saw a sunrise panorama before, but each one and each new angle is more beauty.  Betcha I have enough sunrise pics to make a deck of cards with each card different on the back.   ;D

Active pair on the nest early, near the creek, fishing, perching. And a red tailed hawk visitor, juvenile I think.

Did I get the branch labels correct?  New cam view of the nest.

STL - The cam angle makes it hard to tell, but I think you did.

Shep, thanks for the heads-up about the wild turkeys!  I have one pic to post, but find three turkeys on the rewind and watch progress across the field and close by under the nest.  I thought females from afar, but they have beards, so probably young males.

Other little songbirds are out this afternoon, feasting on the weed seeds and caterpillars.  Pics of bluebird and white-throated sparrow. Also a goldfinch and a chickadee that were too quick to get a good pic.  Love this time of year!

Oct 12 someone said Mom2 did a sudden wing slap - she didnt know why.  I bet I know why!  This morning pre-dawn there was at least one mouse racing around inside the nest

Looks like a 3 year old eagle in nest - not fer long.  8)

Good to get an outside praise to the colors of Decorah Lisa.  It means a little bit more coming from someone who lives on the east coast, foilage coast of fame.  It just goes along with my opinion that we have a beautiful country to see.  Look around people - it's here too for the looking.  Beat the rush, no need to only get caught in one crowded corner of the US.

Every year I apologize to my lonely aspen tree in the back yard with golden, quaking leaves.  He has to work really hard to outshine all my other trees.  Poor guy.  Kinda' spoiled of me to get it to begin with - brought if back from Colorado
where I was born) to have the real thing with me all the time.  I'm spoiled!

Great pics, you-all!

Catch this activity on the rewind if you still can:  The young BE visitor on the Love Branch this morning early might be the same one as yesterday. And an adult BE with a bird prey (coot, I think) on the nest, defeathered  it a little and got about one bite before DNF flew in to defend her territory.  She ran off both intruders with her own spectacular calling challenges.

Does each day's video go to the archive for later watching??
