The falcon was there, preening
but its too far away for a pic

Riverside Bird Cam features nesting Peregrine falcons and a colony of Great Blue Herons that nest on an island in the Mississippi River. The plant grounds are also home to owls, muskrats, and a family of foxes.

The herons are neat, but sure wish we could see the peregrines  :-\
