Unless I was looking at video highlights at 3am this morning, #4 was huddled in the corner of the box. All that matters is that he fledged. Thanks SHEP

Thanks for the video, Shep. Interesting to see the unusual type of exit by the little guy.

LINDA, remember when we were worried about #4 because he wasn't in the huddle when the first three were fed. He was the runt of the hatch and seemed so small compared to the other three. He had a lot of catching up to do and stuck in there. He is a brave little fighter and I am so happy that he is flying free. Any fledge is a good fledge.

Jaspur, yes, I seriously didn't think we'd see him again after that night; the poor little guy looked so pathetic. He really did seem to make an effort to hang in there, and he did great. Hope to see them in the tree on the outdoor cam.

Thanks, Shep! I saw one kestrel on that branch last evening; looked to be an adult.

Mousing kindergarten is in session.
. That is a nice spot to perch. Thanks Shep
LINDA, I missed this at first. Mom and Dad are perching on the top semi vertical branches. The branch that SHEP is talking about is a horizontal branch quite a distance below and to the right of the tree. There are two perched now.
