Dad, CR44 of 2022  nesting season's clutch (same as Mom CR47) comes in with  food. CR # 54 is ready!

Thanks, Phyl.  I hope you all have a good celebration on the 4th too.  I don't plan on doing much, but the fireworks don't bother Atlas, so we'll be good.

We report that there is a 3rd clutch for the 2023 Nesting Season!   

We are now looking at possibles  CR-56, 57, 58 , 59,and 60.


Photo was snapped at 4:03 pm on July 11, 2023   

I am guessing that they've only been laid about 4 days based on the activity at and around Nesting Box #1.
However, I'll just check with Jim on  what he thinks.
And, let y'all know.

Some early stats on 3rd clutch for the 2023 Nesting Season:

5 egglets laid July 10, 2023 , egglets looking good  with no signs of piping to date

Predicted hatching: July 21, 2023 to and including July 23, 2023

Sorry for the fuzziness.
The nesting box door raises from the bottom up and has to be held with one hand while the other holds the iphone and snaps the photo.
Upon occasion a photo will look like this,  regardless of the retakes.
