calhound, yes, the second chick hatched right about 6:00 this morning!  Interesting to watch on the rewind.  The female (I'm guessing) made sounds and rolled the hatching egg off and on all night. Also fed the first chick whatever they regurgitate.  Very caring and protective, these parents.

June 2, 2022, Thursday, 9:00am --  Visitors to the Loft  --  Marshall

Two Turkey Vultures came to Loft Door while Parent was on Nest.  Both have now exited through the loft door.  Nest Parent left nest to quicken there departure and has now returned.

Clarinda, you got the same pics that I did!  The vultures are very quick about changeovers.  I thought maybe there was a changeover, but no way to really tell. As you say, can't tell one parent from the other.  Love the sounds of them "clog dancing" on the wooden floor.

TVs looking good today.  Parent left them alone for an hour or more, and at least one of them is moving around, the older chick.
