One of the chicks died *
I emailed the man who banded them and he replied

Only 3 falcons were banded. I didn’t band the 4th chick because it was 4-5 days behind developmentally. It's likely this is the chick that died.

June 8 sky and loza noted only 3 chicks.
* Apparantly the 4th died between banding May 28, 2021 and June 8 - dont know why

Lil guy finally perching up on the green.
Seems late, seems they shuda all been up there a few days ago
They go up - but right down inside again.
I dont think thats normal at this stage

I wish this was a youtube cam.

By the time falcon juvies are this color, they are past perching and running around the nestbox rooftop.  Their lack of interest in fledging is concerning.

5 am  2 of them perched briefly, but feel safer inside.

It appears to me one perched is female n the other perched is male
