Her egg may be hatching
March 7, 2021
3.45 am  Song of the coyote pack
4.30 He's been nearby hooting, I saw him, but he hasnt brot her brekky yet - and SHE WANTS IT.  She probly wants enuf for her and hatchling. He was in her tree then left, unknown why.  Her hoot has changed so he knows egg is hatching.
6 am she finally gets up and flies over to him
She brings a morsel back to the nest

She keeps them under her and its hard to tell

Shep, I waited a while to capture this shot. You can see Bonnie with a piece of food and the little white top below.
I saw two little fluffy white tops!  ;D

Last night, chatters said there is definitely two owlets. There was two beaks reaching up to mom for food.
They are so low in the nest, I can only see the tops of their little fluff ball heads.  ;D

Watching this cam, is making me homesick for Kansas. We spent 32 years in Mike's hometown of Salina and I'm missing it.

I am still not getting a snip of owlets, but I did get Dad bringing a snack

3 pm  Mom groomed herself and I got peeks at the white fluffy owlets wiggling beneath her.
Maybe tomorrow they'll show themselves - I hope
