pera, thanks for your pic - my security system said there is a security certificate issue with the url where that photo resides, but I overrode that msg to view the pic.  Very sweet.

I didn't know there are two eggs!!   :o ::)  LOL...  I guess I haven't been paying good attention...  LOL...  I usually don't start watching the cam for this nest till after hatch, and then I am a bit cautious because of some of the history of difficulties and some sad times for the WBSE I've watched on cam the last few years.  I hope these two beautiful WBSE have better nesting success this year.  :) :-*

Thanks, pera.  Dad and Lady are so beautiful.  I love seeing them interacting and sharing their nesting and brooding duties.  :)

Thanks for the pics and sharing that link, MpMom.  That is a great page of explanation to help remind some previous followers about this nest and some of its history, and also to inform any new nest watchers here.

I remember the story about Mum and her worrisome illness and condition that she was discovered to have developed in December 2015, and had wondered about the follow-up to that after she was last seen in February of this year.   So I appreciate you sharing that link.  I now know that multiple searches after that ere made and neither she, nor her remains, were ever found.  But it sounded to me from what they knew that Mum may possibly not have survived her condition/illness.  I know Dad was really bonded and devoted to Mum from all I saw of them previously (and read about), so I don't think he would've worked to attract a new mate (Lady) this year unless Mum had not survived.  So based on that, I have to say, Rest in Peace, dear Mum.  I will miss you  :( :-*  And I will also say, Best of Luck this nesting season and in the future to Dad, and his new mate, Lady.  I am happy to know that Dad is able to continue on his mission with a new mate, and hopefully they will be able to successfully raise some little eaglets together this year and in the years ahead.   :-* :-*

Hi Lani and MpMom!

https://www.facebook.com/Sea.EagleCAM

and at their official web page at:
http://www.sea-eaglecam.org/  (see the "News" tab at the top of that web page for all the latest there)

Live cam and chat page at:
http://www.sea-eaglecam.org/video.html (chatters there are currently reporting hearing chirps  :) )
Scroll down that web page below the live cams to see nesting calendar and other info, such as:

2016 Calendar

Currently at the nest it's 3:46am (pre-dawn hrs) on Friday, July 29th, and it looks like Lady is snoozing while the first egg is pipping.  ;)  Rest up, Lady... things at the nest are about to get a lot busier for you and Dad!  :)  :-*  :-*

:-*  just now...  Lady seems a bit restless now and appears to be looking down and listening from time to time.  (I hear some tiny chirps but I don't know if they are coming from this nest.)   :-* :-* :-*

Lady balls her claw/talons to protect the eggs in the first screen cap attached here.   :-*

Hi MpMom!  Pretty exciting waiting on a hatch!  It never gets old for me.  ;)    (I can't tell if the sound I'm hearing right now is from a bird off-cam, or if it's the sound of Lady rustling some nest materials - I'm not sure if the sound is in synch with the picture at this cam right now.)

It looks like a nice day for a hatch there...  ;D  ...  Forecast for Homebush, New South Wales, Australia (basically a suburb on the west side of Sydney) for Friday, which is about to dawn there since they are approx. a half-day ahead of our USA date/time (depending on your time zone) is:
Friday: Clear. High: 66?F(19?C) - Low: 45?F(7?C)
