Have we had an official fledge for the second one yet? I've seen him branch quite a bit to escape the heat, but I haven't seen him leave the nest tree yet.

Raleigh, I think E2 has fledged now.

The Pat Burke from FB group that follows the nest reported about 4 hours ago "E2 just went off the side. Tried to land next to E1 on the branch and they both tangled and E2 went downward and E1 hung onto the branch. E2 IS ON A BRANCH IN THE DISTANCE. Found his wings and kept on going."  ;D

Had mom and dad on the nest earlier. Getting harder to tell the parents apart. I think raising these two youngsters has caused our young males head to go all white. :D

Early this morning. One scouting for nestovers. Most recent check saw an empty nest. Hopefully these two hang around and return to the nest for a while, so we can all enjoy them on camera a little longer.
