MpMom, thanks for posting the update and the picture of the BE trying to pull that branch down.  I have checked in on the nest and have seen this several times.  It just makes me smile and wonder, will it finally break off and become part of the nest?

Saw 3 bald eagles in my travels this morning.  Heading out Highway 55 West I saw a nest I've never seen before in Plymouth plus and eagle sitting near it.  Further out 55 just west of Medina another nest that kb and I have visited.  Then on my way home I see another in a tree on Ridgemount the street that runs along the side of my house.  Pleasant surprise.  Home now and checking on-line nests.  Enjoy the weekend (I'll have to say Go Chiefs after living in Missouri for so many years :-))

I know, I watch every eagle that has been here trying to take down that branch. That would make some rail if it ever comes down ;D ;D

Wow, you had a wonderful eagle day!!! There are more around than we think!!!
