Hi Mp !
We had rain storms and 55mph winds until between 6pm /9pm Friday.
No electricity from 9am Thursday until late Friday evening.
And, no cable or for that matter internet from 7Am Friday until just a few hours ago today, Sunday
I had over 250 pieces of electronic mail and still shifting through. Arghhhh!
Our biggest worry is our roof---11 shingles missing.
What a weird sight, Thursday AM to see those 55mph winds peel off rooftop shingles like skin off a banana!
Since we lost our internet connection I’ve been most concerned about :
1) Sue (Tsk). I ‘m so very sad that she’s been having the tough time she has. And, she still has a long road to recovery. But, encouraged that there is some improvement. And , I now read that she could be going home tomorrow. I sure hope this will happen!
I’m sure being home and just knowing how she’s missed and loved here will brighten her day. And the good cheer from all the ‘greetings will go a long way to helping her recovery.
Like y’all I have sent her card to her home address.
2) the nests that are coming to life with egglets and hatch-lings.
Many many thanks Lori and Clynn and all for the updates. Looking forward to reading them all.
Lisa, Bazi and BL, and Clynn's posts. Thank you for missing me and wondering how Jim, myself and Maggie have been.
Our roof needs your prayers. As does Jim for his cardo test this Tuesday . Jim did tell me that if the deductible is ‘too high’ he’s gonna cancel.
Both of us visit eye doc tomorrow for our annual checkups. She’s an amazing doc who’s worked under and shared the clinic of the world renowed eye surgeon, Dr. Ming Wang here in Nashville.
And, this Wednesday I get to visit the dentist for a cleaning and exam. Aren’t I lucky? LOL
Take care...
