The oldest, the last one, was the only one with an attitude.

This really shows how small this nest is compared to either Decorah nest.

Sparky, thank you so much for the banding day pics!!! Love when Peter does this. They are huge! Good news, they removed a hook!!!!!
Will remember & love you Dad Decorah.

I just watched the banding videos and then I went to the streaming video and  can anyone tell me why there are two bands? Red on the left and silver on right- at least that is what I clearly saw on one Eaglet the others were lying and this one was standing tall.

Silver is Federal, bronze is local/research. When bronze is on the left, it's thought to be female. Blood test results could change that, from what I understand.

Hi...
Many, many thanks to Yankee, MpMom and Sparky for the S caps and videos.
I especially enjoyed the banding vids/ screen caps.
Not the least, the extra info on banding Sparky
I didn't know about the color distinction on the bands. Good item to know.
MpMom the Sauces Trio have really grown. That #3 has come into it's own. LOL
I like to watch them self feed.
Can barely wait the the Wingercising and attempts at 'lift- off'. ;)

I was able to peek in on the nest from the Sauces cam site.

The Trio, IMHO, are looking great. They've grown  and almost fill the nest; are self feeding, sqwakking that will pierce your ears and preening.
I snipped this right after #2 backed to the nest edge and did a PS. Which prompted #1 to deliver a loud comment.
And, wingercising from #2

Anyway, I hope I identified them correctly.

Peeked in on the Sauces Trio just now.
Alot of squawking, preening and looking at the 'sight's.
My how they've grown.
