2 chick perished trying to hatch
Izzy hatched October 2nd 2020November 16th Izzy takes a tumble out of the box, is rescued & returned to box.
November 19th Izzy fledges unsuccessfully and hits a window in the college, he was rescued and taken to rehab for 4 days returned to the box November 23rd.
November 29th Izzy Final fledge
Mom entices Izzy to come back to box with food and waits patiently.
Izzy returns to box and is there everyday.
"After fledging, the Eyass continue to rely on their parents for another 4 ? 6 weeks for food and to master the flying and hunting skills they need in order to survive."January 10th will be 6 weeks since Izzy's final fledge. We'll see what happens... good job Izzy!!!
