The Mercury 13: Meet the Woman Astronauts Grounded by NASA
These aspiring astronauts were part of the little-known 'Mercury 13' program.

Thanks Tsk!  Wish I was there.  Would be wonderful to see.   You are right that this would give you a better idea of the painting than standing with your head tilted up staring at a high ceiling.  Do not know If Jackie can do this but maybe!  Odd, there were bathrooms in the old Sears store!  Lol.
Thanks for posting the pictures!
Pink, I was thinking that perhaps you could spend the weekend eating regular food and then go back to your diet. Some think it shocks your system into more weight loss.  Thought is that after awhile your body adjusts to the new intake levels and stabilizes.
KAREN Cheat meals or days are discouraged on the keto diet because they can easily break ketosis — the metabolic state that's the hallmark of this diet.

The Most Influential Classic Shows from TV's ‘Golden Age’
Pioneering shows from the 1950s, like 'I Love Lucy,' would help shape the medium for decades to come.

The MRI 2 weeks ago showed for spots. Yesterday the more sensitive MRI showed 12. They did 6 yesterday and Aug 3 they will do the rest. Our grandson Ross decided to take a vacation and spend it here. Only one family member was allowed at the hospital so he stayed here. Thank God that he was here as the Atavan was still working and Bill could barely hold himself up and we have 4 steps into the house so Ross was able to get him in and later help him up when he fell in the hallway, I was with him but couldn't hold him up.

Bill is still feeling weaker from the treatment so I doubt he'll want to go to rehab tomorrow. Friday he has chemo which is one day every 3 weeks and will continue until the chemo no longer works.

Great use for my cell phone..... When I take my hearing aids out I hear very little, can't hear an alarm or a phone ring. I always depended on Bill to wake me up. And now he calls my cell when he needs something. After looking at various things i found a SmartShaker that goes under the pillow and vibrates to wake you up. But this one has bluetooth and I control the shaker with an app and it will also vibrate when my phone rings or I get a text. It is battery operated so I can easily move to bed or couch. I finally charged it today, the first time since I got it 3 weeks ago and did the initial charge.

Phyliz, thanks for Mp's pics  ;D

Pink, that looks like a tree frog in a fish's mouth. LOL! ... sweet koalas  :-*

Tsk, the exhibit paintings are beautiful, I'd love to see it. I planted zinnias this year. The last time I planted them it was in Kansas. They're doing well here.

Eagles, Sadie is better. I'm watchful at what she sniffs at the dog park. She caught or ate something she shouldn't have.

Oldguy, love Minnie and tonight's minion.

Blschue, glad your grandson is with you both to help. God Bless  :-*

Good night!

Good night Dear Beakers, Cheers Family, and Friends, may your sleep be one of love, grace, comfort and peace. God Bless

I pulled this sentence out of above:

"Lundgren estimates we would need 6 to 8 inches over 2 weeks to solve the problem"

Eeks, the smoke is already bad enough from the West and Canada....

Am going to start watering as soon as daybreak..

Mornin' lilbro

It was my initial thought, too, Phyliz  Very ugly and poor taste to use that illustration of the female park range.  Disgusting actually; would have been better to have nothing at all.

Continued best possible for you and Bill, blschue

MORNING EVERYONE

EAGLES  Funny to say "primitive" in the 90's.  We have seen so much technology in our generation.  Hard to keep up with it

PHYLIZ  Similar with butterfly bushes that are perennials in some places and annuals in others.  Such an interesting article about the secret program for women astronauts.  Never knew that.  Space exploration has certainly come a long way!!

OLDGUY  Opening the can of tuna was so funny   ;D ;D ;D

BISCHUE  God bless your grandson Ross!!!  An angel God has sent to help you in a time of great need.  Please take it easy and I'm inspired by your investigation into the latest technology!! ((((Bischue and Bill)))

LANI  Again another cute good night photo.  :)

KB    Scattered rain is predicted for here today and tomorrow but doubt we will see in in my backyard.

Good Morning Beakers...

Saw this, and thought it a humorous way to start this day.  Quirky play on the old child in the back seat wanting to pee, no restroom for miles and parent.
All of us can remember that.

Bishue your grandson, Ross as TSK said, God's angel in him. Hugs, L and Ps
Puff I could never quite understand the facination w/ big----.   I  understand the need for a human reference.
KB/Tsk No rain here 'till Monday. Currently in the low 90sF. I just don't have the gumpshion to hand water like Kb.  :(   Thanks for the link on MN wildfires will take a read.
Lani your G'Night golden Rretriver that's something Momo would have done  :-*
Tsk I watched the whole Besos 'thing' the other day. Although I don't agree w/his politics and I shop like crazy on Amazon, who doesn't, it was a wonderful gesture to have Wally Funk from Mercury 13 on board.  Never knew about that either. That was sexist then and would be now. But, we're as a nation are beyond that and other things, now.
