Good morning Lisa
PHILJO, WOW.  Who is the adult with the mystery visitor?  Your pictures deepen the mystery.  The adult looks very comfortable with the visitor.  Anyone have an opinion?

Tulsa, Lisa, STL, I guess we are looking at D13.D14?  It has been awhile since I watched this site.  You are the experts at identifying the kids and adults.
The colors on the camera are spectacular.  The nuthatch is radiant.  Love the child's tin horn sound they make.  I get them at my suet feeder in winter.

jaspurr - I'm not sure who the visitor is, but I have always thought that Mr was a lil more tolerant of visitors then DNF.  That's just my opinion, tho.

tulsa - Thanks for the videos  :)

kizzy - Beautiful sunrise pics!  :D

Mr came with a fish...sub adult chased him for it
Sub landed on the branch below Mr told him to get lost and did a wing whap

Re: the last video that Tulsa posted (A juvie on cam, then Mr. and DNF make an appearance on the nest: https://youtu.be/p8uSYaR8SBw)

I had to laugh when the juvie was on the love branch.  It was facing away from the cam with its head down but as soon as it heard DNF and Mr. North land on the nest, its head popped up ("Uh oh!  Trouble!")  and it turned around to watch the nest.  When Mr. flew off he flew to the love branch and ejected the juvie (per comment by cam op).  DNF flew off to the Scary Tree.  Watch closely and you see that Mr. also flew from the left and went downstream.  Soon after he flew back and joined DNF.

Kizzy, Sunrise this morning was spectacular!

Love the action of the sub-adult with one of the Norths and the fish! Because of all the vocalizing by the North adult, I thought it was DNF. Maybe watchers from the Explore site have the correct ID.  Wonderful to see anyhow.

Spectacular pics STL, Kizzy, Ginger and Lisa

Philjo, great pics of the SA and adult! Wonder if the 2 SA's were related, and if the adult was their parent.  We'll never know, but fun to speculate.  :)

Tulsa, thanks for the videos of the SA's.

STL, very interesting info on starlings!  I had no idea they were so intelligent, but watching them fly is truly amazing.  Whatever the 'lead' bird does, they all follow in perfect formation.

Mr. N and DNF look great, and we're all looking forward to a wonderful season with this gorgeous couple.
My spirit will never be broken or caught, for the soul is a free flying thing, like an eagle that needs neither comfort or thought to rise up on glorious wings.

Busy time at the creek this morning!  Best on the rewind.  BE drinking from the creek. Curious cattle coming to watch DNF and MrN. Juvie perching close by DNF or MrN.

I had to laugh at the cam ops this morning.  They had the cam pointed at one of the trees across this river.  It reminded me of the quiz games where you were asked to find all the hiding animals in the picture.  Finally, located the little white head. LOL
The video of one of the sub adults chasing Dad to the nest with a fish sure reminded me of D14's chasing antics.
STL, thank you for the rewind recommendation.
