Morning pics from Decorah - DM2 was perched in a tree under the bluffs this morning, and then Mom joined him a short time later.  Mom flew to different tree, DM2 left and Mom did too a short time later.

As long as Mom and DM2 are excited about each other we're in Decorah Bliss.   :)

Turkeys, Porcupines, Skunks and Opossums flitting about.

We just semi de miced a few camps along the way. And ran out of toothpicks odly.

Hudson valley Black bear there with her cubs.

Pause.

It's your woods mama we respect.

The farmer is creating an endless supply of cornstalks for Mom and DM2, and the squirrels!

I hope this brings Mom and DM2 back to the nest!

I hope so, too, Lisa.  The DNN eagles are bringing cornstalks to the nest this week.

Ooops, time to order the Halloween pizza for dinner. Wonder if they do a pumpkin pizza?  Sounds awful! Ha.

A lil before 8am an eagle was in the tree below the bluffs, along the treeline.  Kinda hard to tell if it is DM2 or Mom, but I am leaning more towards Mom.

Lisa, great pics this morning!  I'm leaning toward the perching eagle being Mom, too.

Great pics, STL!

I had not even noticed the frost this morning, great catch!
