I can't get enough of the sunrise pictures.  Some mice did an air drop on the nest box at GSB this morning and Newman was in the box.  This is taking home food delivery too far.

Been busy with work and am just now getting back into Forum after a few weeks away.  So much to catch up on, but thanks to everyone who posts pics and info I'm able to 'get up to speed' quickly.  First and foremost, ALL 3 HAVE FLEDGED SUCCESSFULLY!!!  Sad that we all didn't get to see it this year, but so happy Mom and DM2 have added 3 more strong, healthy eagles to the population!  Many, many thanks to Robin Brumm for being our eyes this season!

Registered for ATF this weekend and am looking forward to the Friday walk to N3!  This will be my 3rd ATF and it means so much to me after not being able to have one last year.  Hope to see many of my eagle peeps there!

Heard wings at N2B on rewind a bit ago. CO found an adult trying to settle down for the night. ;)

T40 and tig - Thanks for the pics.  I see on Explore.org one of the chatters said, that this was Mom in the tree, as they have a friend in Decorah right now and they confirmed that Mom was in the maple and then flew to N2B.

NW - Yay, on getting all registered for ATF!    I am so excited to be able to attend this year.  :)

T40, thanks for posting Robin's report. It was great news also that all three have fledged! Even if Mom was not enthusiastic about her new digs (boy, can I relate to that one), she is still a real Super Mom. She and DM2 have put 3 more eagles into the skies - flight school.
Now we have a chance to see them at the other sites, even if we don't know their "names".
Thanks to all for the super pictures.

So it sounds like Mom slept at N2B possibly last night?  I hope she is able to persuade DM2 to nest there next season.  I think she really misses it.

Loved that "Hope DM2 knows happy wife, happy life!", tig!  C'mon Mom, show him some of that spitfire we all know and love!  ;D

Nice shots Lisa, T40, and tig

I don't know if RRP is still trying to get the landowner to let them put cameras at N3, but it would be great if Mom was able to get DM2 to come back to N2B before RRP goes through the expense and time to install new equipment.  However, doesn't history show that they usually don't return to a prior nest, other than to visit?  Although I think Mom would have been happy at the Y branch (N1?) also if there had been a nest to go back to.

NW - I believe RRP said that even if the landowners would allow it, they can't shoot lines into or climb up a dead tree. So, I think cams are out for N3. :(
