Thanks for the refresher course BL.
21, 22 and 23 certainly know the neighborhood and that was such a magical year watching them. I agree that 26 and 28 are less likely. Think I'll put some spicy BBQ sauce on my grocery list...
No need for any spicy extra BBQ sauce on the list T40.

Without very permanent nail polish on any Decorah alumni I never rule them
all out.
Eagle Hatchery visitors that is.
And once again, for I don't know how many times now,
Thank You for pulling forward the RRP eagle tracking maps here to the board.
And while I'm on that ..
Thank you so very much for so fully updating the Eagle Maps page RRP. And I think I need to blow another kiss towards the ENTIRE eagle valley crew. >>
So here on the wing above the Driftless
D36 posts his June 13th 2021 postcard.
Where I've been in 2021. (01/01/21 to 06/13/21).
Just as a reminder Eagles don't generally fly from any point point A to B in straight lines.
The lines simply connect the Waypoints.
In between every way point along "those neat straight lines" that connect them were probably dozens of daily learning adventures.
The TIME stamp between any given waypoint or GPS 'ping' out from the eagle's transmitter to the mother ship is consistent.
X amount of hrs between pings out.
Up to 8 pings per 24 hr period or every 3 hrs I believe.
The stationary or not moved very far waypoints are being very nicely edited out so as to not clutter up the a map.
As a GIS user I get this & fully appreciate the effort it takes to do that.

ie: Young eagles perch, roost or just hang out near one place for some periods of time ...
or some just fly and soar quite some distances away.

I love learning all about this along with you all.
This place is so totally cool.
The babes
The trees
The fish
The rivers
The sky
The wind
The weather
The lakes
The altitude
The nights
The critters and on & on ..
These wings and talons, oh' man these wings and talons ...
I'm one bad ass winged apex predator living off of this awesome forested carpet and water world below me.
The next day, wow this place is even way cooler ...
