Our N2B visitor spent the night again in the tree.  You could hear vocals at 4:31am, at 4:40am they flew down from the upper branch to the nest and poked around in it a bit, till they flew straight over to M2!

Our N2B visitor perched on M2 for a while, before flying off, flew around the retention pond then headed over to a tree by the hatchery.

7 GBH enjoying the morning sun.  Nice frontal shot of the visitor Lisa.  Has Mom spotted him yet?  Don't blame him for wanting to stay there.

I read that real estate is getting scarce in Decorah but I believe that N2B is not on the market.   >:(

What a perfect solo take off by D13.  I hope he/she nailed the landing.  Felt a little sorry for D14 sitting in the nest all alone.  Inquisitive minds want to know (hint) how the Decorah three are progressing on the fledging.  I hope they are building their wing muscles so that they can make a surprise guest appearance at the ATF.

Jaspurr & Lisa, enjoying your pics of the Decorah visitor. This one today has been there before, recently.  Love the pic with eagle and oriole at N2B.

Gotta get the dead trees straightened out in my mind -- the taller, less branchy one is M2 -- in the maple tree cluster across the road from the retention pond.  But where is the other one?  Or am I just totally wrong?

STL, the dead tree in your pics below are from what I can tell when the cam ops zoom over are behind or side of the raceways at the hatchery.  However, you want to look at it.  It you are looking at the map of the area on RRP's homepage of Decorah eagles, the tree is to the left of the raceways.

Lisa, thanks for the geography update.

DN14 still sitting tight on the nest. Maybe this afternoon there will be a fledge!  Parents might be encouraging DN14 to fly by NOT bringing fresh fish to the nest.
