Here's a question for any boots on the ground or even the cam operators. . .
I see a lot of food and and time of the north nest parents spending time, feeding, and watching their little ones. But Mom D doesn't seem to have the same devotion to taking care of the Decorah group. All that time yesterday spent at hatchery and M2 site doesn't leave her with the same motherly time. And what about new dad? Is he picking up her slack? Food, protection, flying instructions do not seem to be Mom's priority. Nostalgic roosting at home base takes up a lot of her time. She spent the entire night away from N3? Maybe someone there can quantify time for both M and new D?
Points to NN for their diligent work.
