Mom spent quite a while on Maple2 this morning before flying off, and then heading in the direction of N2B. This morning when she headed that way, she looked like she flew in a different direction and a lil lower.

About an hour ago on rewind, an eagle comes flying to the Y, perches for a bit, then flies off.

nan - It's hard to say, without a good look at that iris. 

I think I want it to be our DM2, since we haven't seen him in so long!

Lisa, surely all of us want the eagle in your pics today to be DM2!!  Can you zoom enough in your pics to get  eyeball details?  It's a gorgeous BE, whoever.

DM2 is not missing.  I think you mistook what I said. 

We have not seen him on cam in so long, that any eagle that comes along that looks like him, we think it is him. 

DM2 has been in the new nest N3 with Mom raising the new eaglets.   :)

Scroll down a bit, and you can see a new video from iverburl, and also there is a post a few pages back with Robin Brumm's day trip to Decorah with pics.

No other info available yet on D36 or D27 for May 2021. D27-2021 is the orangish red "teardrop" icon on the map.

An eagle, Mom most likely, has been on and off M2 all morning, made their usual way around N1 and came out by the pasture tree heading behind N2B

STL, thanks for giving me the giggles at the pic of the GBH in the tree. For some reason, they just look so out of place to me when they're in trees.
iverburl, I enjoyed the wingercizing video. When we can't see them growing, it's a real surprise to see normal stages of development.
Lisa, it's always good to see Majestic Mom.
Mom's life has been a real adventure. Was it just two years ago or three that we watched her earn SUPER MOM of the YEAR on Mother's Day because she raised her babies alone (that great pic of her flying in with a fish in each talon) while "managing" visiting males?
Thanks to all who post, especially this year. I am so very grateful.
