Ok I've check on some stats and need to correct mistakes in the post above.  In 2016... egg1 didn't hatch, D24 has a transmitter, and D25 died in a car accident.  From 2017.... D26 is a possibility, D27 has a transmitter and we know where he/she is, and D28 is a possibility.   Like I said...these are just really way out there thoughts but what do you think?

Thanks to many who posted pics over the past few days, and those who added their thoughts and the comments from RRP.  When you have 15 minutes or so, watch the TED talk at the "musings . . ." link.  Human relationships with the natural world leave quite a bit to be desired, along with all the good and caring things many of us do.

In the meantime, the witch hazel tree in my yard is in bloom. Spring is well on the way.
