Male came back with a fish and ate on the skywalk, female flew in later and joined male on skywalk. She must have had a meal too, as she is feaking her beak.

These two seem quite comfy at N2B this morning, and as Puff said..."Ready built, move in condition, fresh fish all you could want, nest fully equipped with own fan club.  LOL"

Mom, original Mom from 2011, also had some black feathers when she and Dad first built their nest together.  She was new to the motherhood role, too, and it worked out pretty good for our 7 (?) years with them.

Definitely wondering about the outcome of 2021. . .

I find it interesting these couples aren't already in the process of their own egg-laying. Perhaps scoping out nest areas for next year. Sure is fun to see them here even if it is just a fly-in, visit, and fly-out situation.

How do we know the younger one is a female? I know females are generally bigger, but it's hard to tell sometimes....

I hope they stay!   As they say, location, location, location!   Mom was not too smart to move with dm2!  There were plenty of trees at the hatchery.  Wish them all a good life and a peaceful coexistence!  There is plenty of fish for all!
