Well, this is certainly an exciting development! But it's hard to imagine mom & dm2 letting them stay.... Only time will tell! Assuming they do stay & use the nest, I think they should be called dm3(Decorah male 3) & df3(Decorah female 3- mom is actually the 2nd). What do you think the odds are that this new pair will stay?

I'm feeling wary about this situation. Am trying to relax and wait to see what unfolds here, but if both nests end up having eggs and eaglets, couldn't both pairs be even more aggressive in trying to defend their territory? Feel free to tell me I'm overreacting.;)

On so many levels, I am more confuzzled than ever. While the new couple restoring N2B are very attractive, I seriously doubt that Mom and DM2 will allow them to shop at their exclusive grocery store. This is their territory. I am also overreacting because I really don't want any of the four involved to get hurt, especially in breeding season.

I'm also still having problems saving the RRP Forum home page as a shortcut on my Chrome page. I thought I had it fixed, but today it took me back to page 24.

Can this be true? Or are the new eagles we saw, who went unchallenged and didn't look threatened while inspecting N2B, DM2's brother and sister-in-law? ::)

T40 - I am guessing N3 is more than a wing flap away....must be lots of flaps away, if neither Mom or DM2 could see someone on N2B.

That fella yesterday....he could pass for DM2's twin brother.  ;D
