T40- many thanks for the 3 vids.  I still can't get over how sharp the cam has become. D. mom is really quick with that snag. I barely caught  view.

jaspurr it's all good. Really.    ;D

As Ginger52 said:  "We all make mistakes.  The important thing is that you corrected it -- and in a timely way, too".

I did go to check & see if Robin Brumm did a 'unknown to us' zero dark thirty photo blitz of the wee ones @ the Hatchery however .   ;D

LisaG U can sleep zzz knowing that the DDD's aren't having a huge party on the Skywalk while in you're inflight.   :)

Speaking of which, stay real safe on all of your wanderings, this Delta variant is the real deal bitch.  :(

4 in our circle, Fully Vaccinated, have gotten "slightly sick" & have now tested positive.

FL right now would not be my pick of winged tin can destinations.

People gasping and gasping and begging in FL ICU's for the free and readily available vaccine.

Sorry nope, that is no longer an option for you, TRACHEAL INTUBATION.   :'(

Pip & I are not talking out of turn or out of our ass.
Jerry a good friend of ours is in the fight of his 38 year old life in a FL ICU, intubated, vitals really not good.
His wife & 2 kids (4 and 6) are now very sick too. What a mess.
The "adults" were not yet vaccinated.  :(

I'm young and very careful Jerry told me not 2 weeks ago.  ::) I said ..

Stay MASKED up for sure at all times interacting with all , distance as best as U can on all legs of the journey.

No politics. Just public health commonsense for everyone in the U. S. A.

We're once again going the wrong way USA.
Daily new cases

BL ;D ;D  I slept very well last night!
I am only landing in FL, not staying there, but I will be masked up the whole time I am in both the airports, or anywhere I go during my week.   :)

Great pics, tig!

DM2 looking at Mom, as she is arriving to N2B with a fish this morning.  She ate a lil bit and flew off with the fish.

Lisa, the pics of Mom with a fish on N2B and DM2 watching from the Skywalk are definitely the best of the summer for Decorah! And there's a really nice salad bar, too!

BL and all our other Forum friends, so sad for Covid infections that are causing so much havoc.  As our MO governor says, "wear a dang mask" and as our public health experts plead, "get the dang shots."  We can protect ourselves and our loved ones and avoid plague-like conditions with only a little inconvenience.

Decorah Eagles 7-29-29, 7:30 am DM2 tracks her in, Mom brings breakfish to N2B - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpOwjnJJfms

I love this video! DM2 knows exactly who that eagle is - Mom - or he would have been screaming and off for the chase. I'm sure bonded couples have ways of identifying each other, but it reminded me of research I ran across a while back. Most bird feathers fluoresce under ultraviolet light and eagles can see in the ultraviolet range. An individual eagle's feather pattern of fluorescence will be unique and could, as the theory goes, be used to identify each other.

T40, what an interesting bit of science for eagles to recognize each other. Why not? That video & rewind of DM2 watching Mom fly in with the fish is similar to the way the youngsters watch their parents fly in with prey. They never react in fear, although they might duck to avoid getting smacked in the noggin by a floppy fish or dangling duck.

DM2 had his fish dinner on the skywalk. Mom landed on the skywalk after DM2 went to his perch.

It is so sweet to see the pictures of Mom.

BL I am sorry for your friend and hope he makes a good recovery. I also hope that you and your family are feeling better. It is good that you posted, as a reminder from someone we know, even just virtually, that we aren't out of the woods yet.
