I never liked V3, felt he is - retarded.
Gabby laid an egg - and Beau BURIED it!

It appears V3 has been given a name...and it is
Beau.
Beua buried the egg.
I have felt from day one that this male was off with his laryngitis, absences from the nest site that allowed other males in, and difficulties mating. I do not believe this is due to his immaturity, as suggested by others off this site. He has been at this nest for over a year. He is no longer immature. Mating should be instinctive. He finally did the deed in the nest, but with difficulty.
Nest building has not been in earnest by him. A stick here and there and some fluff, but not much in my mind. To me, there is just something off about this male. Not sure why he buried the egg, unless his hormones have not kicked in and he is not in sync with her. Perhaps his immature behavior is a developmental issue. I feel for Gabby. This may be her 2nd year without a family.
