Thursday 4/9 still no eggs, but I remember them being later than most last year too.

WE HAVE EGG #1  :D

Mom laid it about 4:00 PM, spent a little time with it, then dad came to see it and spent a little time with it while really watching for her.

She has the egg in front of her, but hard to see it in the shadow...

There comes dad...

And mom left the egg to dad and took a break....

But he sure watched for her.....  :D

Around suppertime I thought she looked like she wanted to lay another egg, but nope.  She decided to wait until it got too dark to see.  The first view in some light this morning revealed Egg #2  :)

And in better light....

I believe we have egg #4.  Between 6-6:15 PM.  She had the three eggs up by her front so they were out of the way.

As she turned to settle I could just see #4 behind her left leg....

And of course it got dark soon after.  There should be a better view in the morning.  :)

These were laid rather late 4/9-4/16, so don't think there will be any fluff for a while yet, today's May 10th.
Shift change at 1:30 PM and dad didn't get right up and mom told him off as he left....

There has been a LOT of turning around, rolling eggs, and checking eggs all day.   It's also been hard to even see the eggs today.  Finally at 1658 (4:58 PM) it looks like there MIGHT be a pip in the bottom right egg!  Cross your fingers.
