December 18, 2020  dawn
Have you ever seen an eagle say -
NUTS TO THIS!

Well, it SNOWED yesterday in DC, including in the nest.  The President landed in the nest, poked around, moved a branch, and clearly said - nuts to this stuff!

SPECKS
January 5, 2021
This nest is on a busy flyway - so many visitors
Today a juvie visited - maybe a 3 year old

STREAK
I saw Streak again Jan 3 - he was there an hour before dawn
The regular male has no streak down his chest - unless he was in a fight?

Dot must have just passed thru. My guess is she wont breed til next year.
I saw her a few weeks ago

7.30 am  I am not sure what I just saw.
Streak is back.  I am sorry but I am unsure if its male or female.
I just saw what I thot was mating but afterward the one appeared to attack the other who left.

8 am  Streak won
I wonder if its a 5 year old who hasnt mated before

Busy eagles
Jan 25, 2021 Arboretum DC
The President and First Lady are contented.
They have a pattern
Mating, then he's off for a branch to wrestle into the nest

The First Lady is in the nest - is it egg time?

The President was fertilizing her OFTEN yesterday.

RUCKUS in DC
7.30 am  Feb 4, 2021 a juvie enters the nest.
He's there about an hour when The President returns.
Apparantly there's a fight and a lotta screaming and flying.
Juvie is driven off but NOT without resistence!
Thankfully our President won.

I'd guess Juvie is a 3 or 4 year old, maybe an offspring
