Got my Christmas decoration inside down, and the living room back in order.  Jeff just has to do the outside, but that might have to wait till Saturday, since its supposed to rain for the next two days.  :-\

So sad news of  Dawn Wells passing.  :'( I use to watch Gilligan's Island as a kid. Mary Ann was my fave.
Do you know that she designed a line fo clothing using velro,  for older women to wear?

  No I just bought a 'bolt' or 50 yds of a delicate gosamer cranberry red ribbon amd was replacing it.
Since I had pulled theother out before washing her knitted wine colored  afgan. I must have 45 yds left. LOL
It's a pretty pattern that looks liked that  faggoting
 'ladder edging'  that you lace grossgrain ribbon thru.
( faggoting embroidery in which threads are fastened together in bundles.)


the pattern looks like this  as it's 1 1/2" border only knitted. And, once threaded,  the ribbon is tied into 'pussie' bows at the corners.
Pussie bows are big floppy bows that in Victorian era cats wore about their tiny necks.

EMY  Great to see you at the end of this year with that great cartoon that says it all!!  We need to be tiptoeing in and not touch anything as I think CLYNN had in a cartoon the other day?  Hope you are well and are wearing your long undies  ;D
