Beautiful GIF's Lori.
At what point will we be past the possibility of a 3rd egg? Possibly three days between eggs?

Puff - thank you for posting this information. I believe you have everything you need from me but let me know if you don't. Will there be a link on the RRP website with this information? I know it got deleted when the updates were made.

cwellsla  Yes, there will be additional news about ATF coming up later.  May and June is when the other information will start flowing.  Any or mods actually open a new topic at that time "ATF 2020"

BTW I have received replies re adjoining room; I'll contact you to tell you what we have so you can make your choice.

About 3:00 this afternoon, DNF on the nest, looking very intent. Could this be a signal of a third egg?
They were mating a bit earlier, so it's still "the season."

I love watching this nest. The beauty of this area, and the fact that there are fewer followers here, just seem to make it more intimate. DNF and Mr. North aren't quite as famous as their Decorah cousins. Its like finding a great vacation spot without the crowds:) DN9 turned out to be a beautiful young eagle. Hope we have success with these two all the way to fledge.

It's a rainy day at the nest.

Before the rain started, DNF brought in a long cornstalk.  The farmer didn't get the corn stalks shredded last fall what with all the crazy weather and also an injury.  The neighbors and relatives got the crops out between rain events and snow flurries.  That's why so many intact stalks have been brought in this year.

Here is DNF soaked from the rain.  You can see where her ear hole is located.

I was wondering why it looked like they were nesting in a corn field this year. Thank you for that information Ginger.

Raleigheagle: the north nest is where I started a few years ago. I discovered the Decorah nest by accident. You are right that with fewer viewers it does seem more "simple". The only thing is that updates are as frequent.
