When the N1 cam was turned off at the end of the 2011 season, I was devastated and sought solace for years to come in every other animal cam out there, from A to Z. It was a good thing and I have profound memories and insights from each and every one of them. But, for me at least, my heart belongs to Decorah and always will. :-*

T40 - Decorah was my 1st eagle cam to watch, and is my FAVORITE.  It is the first one I turn on every morning, and the last I look at every evening.
I do peep in on some others from time to time, but just as you Decorah belongs to my heart!  I will watch this empty nest all season, if Mom & DM2 choose to build elsewhere.
I am just happy we are getting a few glimpses of them here and there.   :)

Same here!

DE was also my first cam to watch but now DNN is my favorite.  I still have a great fondness for DE though and try to keep up with it as much as I can.  There's just something special about your first!

I also started with the Decorah cam and the Minnesota DNR cam. DNN is now my favorite as well, but I always check the two Decorah cameras, the Flyway, and the GSB camera everyday. I still follow the Minnesota DNR nest, but the video quality there doesn't compare to the RRP nests. Hats off to the camera operators.

So much better to watch the eagles than to do housekeeping chores any day, but today it's the best way to say goodbye, good riddance to 2020.

Kermit, great pics. I saw only one BE and one deer on the rewind.
Tigeag, I think your caption is the best ever on a Decorah pic "Good grief, can they still see us?"

One of my pics shows the smaller section of bluffs where Mom & DM2 have been earlier today. Off to the right of the retention pond as we see it from the pavillion camera. (Is that correct?)

Couple more pics from this morning in the area of N1, which was my first Decorah nest, too, in its last year.

It was just 5 minutes before the scene you saw, when DM2 was sitting with Mom on the tree
