GLY arrives to feed SP chick, he even fed chick up behind his nest.
It is a large piece of food GLY is maneuvering back down as he leaves.

3 meals in 24 hours! Mum L first, followed by Dad GLY with his perfect landing, yesterday afternoon.

Royal Albatross 6/7
Rangers arrived to weigh South Plateau chick, this morning. He is 138 days old, and weighed 9 kg.
The heaviest chick today, weighed 10.3 kg.

Wake up SP chick, your Dad is coming. A neighboring chick skycalls for SP chick's Dad.
Before GLY could feed SP chick he needed to go up the bank to check on the other chick, just to make sure she stayed up there :)

Mum L arrived with an early dinner for SP chick, we haven't seen her for a little while. Also a neighboring parent passes by.
L leaves, heading off into the sunset and back to SP chick, resting & digesting. I love to hear his calls to parent.

Weigh day.

First came the meal, then the Rangers to weigh Manaaki
and finally the weight.

Manaaki at 158 days old weighs 12 kg. Don't forget to check the graph. It had to be made bigger!!

It's weigh Day
Manaaki is 172 days old and weighed 11 kg. Mum L arrives to excited yaps and a skycall from the neighbor, and also some wings for good measure. Keep an eye on his left foot.
