Hello, all! It's windy on Seal today. The slight calm before a handful of rainy days. Many of you noticed the intruder to burrow 59 yesterday. There was a slight scuffle between Mille, Willie, and the invader. The egg was temporarily rolled out from the nest but was quickly replaced by the parents. Intruders like this are typically looking for a nice burrow for their own eggs to grow in; habitat stealing is a natural occurrence with many different animals.

As we're in the last few days of May, egg-laying season is nearly done. We'll start looking for eggs in the next few weeks!
