Charlo Montana lil C9.  Wonder when she will leave?  Mom (Charlotte) was last seen August 29th, Dad (Charlie) is still there.  I asked Poppy the explore.org mod and she thinks it will be anyday they will migrate. Brrrr... stay safe lil girl. ❤️❤️❤️

No doubt, osprey season is over ? for more than 2 months! Charlotte, Charlie and C 9 are off for a much deserved vacation in Central or South America. May they all have a great time, especially C 9 on its first vacation ever.

Charlie of Charlo Montana Ospreys returned home this afternoon.  Unfortunately, there is another temporary tenant borrowing their nest.  Charlotte is not home yet.

Charlo Montana Osprey cam Charlie & Charlotte.
Looks like they are building a nest within camera range on a pole.  They haven't been bothering Mama Goose at all.  So, it looks like we get to witness gosling hatches this year!  We are blessed to still be able to view Charlie & Charlotte's new nest this year See below pic.

Yesterday, both, Charlie and Charlotte did their osprey business on P2: fish and nest material were delivered, they mated. Let us see, how activities develop, today.

Charlo Osprey Cam ~ ADORABLE Gosling Hatches!]

We have our first gosling hatch today and what an adorable chick! We got a very quick peek of the new little one under Mom! Then later, Mom Goose gets up and we have some excellent zooming on the gosling! Too cute for words! The second egg pip is growing bigger and we should see the a hatch tomorrow.
The goslings will jump off the nest to the ground within 24 hours after hatching so stay tuned for that incredible journey!
A pair of Canada geese took over the nest of Charlie and Charlotte before they returned from migration. The female goose laid three eggs on April 7th, 9th and 11th. One egg broke. Charlie returned April 13th 2020 and Charlotte returned April 17th. They both built a new nest on the P2 platform.
