Its NOT looking good for an egg this year.
There are several other osprey nests with young in the area.

Jack paired with Ruby in January, but she left.
Took him time but he finally paired with Jill - intruders chased her off.
Edie was apparantly the winner and arrived Feb. 10.

After all that fruitless mating - Jack may be outta gas.

She's been there all night.
Did I give up too early?

4 EGGS!
March 21, 2024
Its uncommon for osprey to lay 4 eggs.
Its usually 2 or 3.

Other nests in this area have failed. Sad.
I hope this succeeds.

INTRUDER ATTACKS!
Crazy male osprey attacked Edie on her eggs!
Jack swooped in and went after the attacker.  OUR HERO!
