No date on banding - May 25 - ?

10:45 am  feeding - tug o war with 3 different chicks

1.30 pm  A very wet male entered and she began scolding and scolding.
Its pouring rain, he just wants shelter!
It musta been the Dad, cuz she left him alone with the kids for awhile.


No bands on these 2021 chicks

Oh thank God they cleaned the cam!  UGH!

Dawn  feeding Big Mama wanted it ALL, Mum had to fight her for prey to feed 2 others.
I have not seen the 2 ( males ? ) in back fed for 2 days
They are small and dont fight - 3 in front (females?) fight for the food

It may still be raining - TONS of rain yesterday!

Mom arrived with a huge bloody - rat?
One chick grabbed it from her
another grabbed it from that one

Poor mom dove into the crazed kids and pulled it away
She fed them in a more or less tidy way

May 29, 2021 afternoon
Just saw Mom arrive and Tiny, the youngest, male I believe, got fed.
My guess is we have 4 females and a male, judging by color and aggression and size.
Mom has dropped off prey several times, and a chicklet grabs it and wont let mom have it

No picture, cam smeared again
They act a little more normal today.
Their legs are SO LONG!  One could almost stand up and look out the hole

I hope #5 gets enough to eat ....

Mom isnt feeding them now, she just drops food off and flees!
She isnt inside overnite either
Their feathers are dark now

6 pm  I havent seen either parent all day.
They may have visited and I didnt see.
Kids look ready to jump up into the hole and look out.
