Nora, 70 miles from Key West and no road or commercialism.  Just pure beauty, birds and sea life.  I have been to many of the little Keys and the Marquesas.  The big thrill is arriving at Fort Jefferson on Garden Key.  So few people even know it exists.  Of course it is only manned by the resident park rangers.  I like this picture of it.  In the picture you can see Loggerhead Key in the upper distance where the lighthouse is.  That is the actual end of the florida Keys.

JP, I had a great day visiting at Fort Jefferson in February, 1983.  I arrived there and left by float plane, which I boarded at a dock in Key West - while I was on my honeymoon!!!    :D   It was a wonderful day at that Fort/National Park.  I took a photo of that island out the plane's window as we approached, and my photo looks almost exactly like the one you posted in the puzzle, except I did not have Loggerhead Key in my pic.  I need to scan that photo into my computer sometime - it was taken old school back then, of course, with my 35mm Nikon SLR camera.  That is the only time I have flown in a float plane - a 6-seater, and I got to sit right seat - loved that, too!   :)

Thanks, JP!  Is that a recent pic of Ft. Jefferson?  Looks like it's in good shape!
