OH! DARN! I did the puzzle again and was so anxious to let you all know I shut it off and did not look at the time.  It felt pretty fast. LOL
Hi Cal!! We are as happy as Lindy to see you.  Don't be a stranger as they say down in West By God Virginia.  You'all come. Or Ya'll, or yawl, or something. LOL  Anyway nice to see you.  You are doing good. Keep it up.  Being careful not to stumble or fall is very important too.  Do not go out riding a bike for a while for example. LOL
Denise says the mail is in.  So I will see you all later.  GBU

Haha, Jo... your comment to cal! Yes, I'm sure all were happy to see cal's posts! Like you, I sometimes overreact to aches and pains, I think it's because we're seniors. Glad to hear your hand is better.

Oh, cal, I can imagine the tears falling when you saw Indy running toward you! Animals are smart and they have feelings, too. It sounds like you are feeling better, little by little - yay! You'll feel even better when the swelling goes down.
The bear cubs from the other day were so sweet. Thanks for posting them. I appreciated the Memorial Day pictures of your dad, uncle, and your friend's dad. They deserve to be remembered and honored for all that they gave.

Thinking of you and Charlie, Paulie. Check in when you can.

9:02 Thanks Cal.  Slow due to Left hand again, but my right hand is not very sore today.  I think I will start using it again soon.
It is 68 out at 12:39.  Nice day.
Went to eye doctor,  She said I have over active fluid glands due to allergy.  Take drops twice a day.  OTC drops that I will get today from drugmart.  I hope they are not too high cost like some drops are.  Does not really matter I'll get them.
I will say CUL EV1 GBU and go to cams and lunch.

It's almost 7pm.  Going to drugmart finally.  No fledge yet.  Mom brought food to the nest.  So maybe tomorrow. At snow the man put up the feeder basket at 8:16 am, and at 8:43 am the bear walked in from the left and took it down.  Maybe he was watching from the weeds.
Bye again EV1 GBU for the evening.

Hi cal, jo and nan! I finally made it here. I've had very busy days and some days didn't turn on my laptop.

cal, Good news about your bone and no infection! Wonderful news! I'm sorry you're still swollen and have so much pain. Are you still still putting ice on your knee/leg to help swelling?

jo, Aww to your comment about being jealous about cabin. That would be a nice getaway for you going to the cabin and area you mentioned.

nan, Are you getting the storm and rain in your area. My area is to get hammered tonight.
How is Bren? Prayers continue.

To answer your question and thank you for asking. Charlie is doing good .. better. He had some not so good days but he's feeling better now.

We had a good time at the cabin. One very annoying thing happened again. Every Spring since cabin was built I have an allergic reaction to something there. This is our 3rd year with cabin. We're assuming it's something outside whether I'm touching something growing or from a bug bite or I brush against something when walking. I get a tingling .. then red bumps appear on legs, arms and back of neck. The itching is unbearable! This is the third year it's happened. Haven't a clue what causes it. And only in Spring.
I went to urgent care as soon as we returned and was prescribed same as previous years. Prednisone, use Allegra and Pepcid and anti itch sprays and/or cream. Luckily the itching began the morning we were leaving to return home.

We're going to the cabin again tomorrow morning.

Good morning!
Jo, I hope the eye drops bring you some relief. I think we'd all agree that we're glad you're here!
Cal, you're working hard and doing what you can. Swelling causes pain, but since there's no infection, I believe it will improve (hopefully sooner rather than later). It's good to hear that Jim is supporting you in many ways during this challenge. No sickness for Bren so far, and she continues to have a great attitude. We're meeting at her place today(sisters, some husbands, and a male cousin we haven't seen for quite a while) - it will be fun. She doesn't have any pets but has loved all of my dogs over the decades.
Yes, Paulie, we're getting rain today but nothing like what they were predicting a couple of days ago. I'm glad to hear your update on Charlie and hope for more good days for him, Ugh about your allergic reaction! I hope the meds get rid of it quickly, especially the itching. Have a good visit to the cabin.

Thank you all for your thoughts of Bren.

Hi EV1.  Just got up.  Feels like I'm hibernating.
Nice to hear from EV1.  Feels almost normal.
First coffee is done dripping.  So I will do the puzzle after while.
I did peak at cams.  Nothing new.
Did not hear from Debbie.  Sure hope she is ok.
