oh i see some down at gsb.  I been away to get Odin from the bus and take Nick to workouts.  Just scrolled back on GSB to Minus 3.25 and now see I missed the hatch.  Two babies are already eating there.
CUL EV1 back to baby watching and pizza.

It's 7:25 here.  I just saw Dad come in to spell Mom.  She zoomed off.  There are two eggs and two chicks.  He is cleaning out stuff.  This is all on the "Nest View Cam".

I just heard an odd clacking near my front door.  I opened it up an found a tiny robin not very good at flyin yet,  He did fly away close to the ground and onto the driveway next door.  He looked OK.
Back to baby watch. Dang TV cam black again. Nope, no sign of him now.  It is dark though.

Mom is back now.  She is doing a better job of covering the chicks and eggs than Dad did.  It was a little funny to see her roll the eggs and try to roll the chicks too. LOL
Wait, I hear something outside my window again. I wonder if the baby robin is bumping into my house again.
Did your puzzle Cal.  Took a while. 6:37.
I will be back later. Bye now. GBU.

Cal, you are so sweet to say that Bren and all of us are your bright spot. I feel terrible, though, that there's nothing I can actually do to help you. It was distressing and then amazing to read Jo's post about Joan's RA diagnosis (thanks for sharing, Jo). It sounds like your pain is similar to hers. When will you see a doctor again?
Sky-diving is definitely not on my bucket list. Actually, I don't even have a bucket list. What's wrong with me??!!
Oh, a sweet little Robin at your door! Any more visits, Jo?
Paulie, we were sprared from the heavy storms on the 6th. I'm glad you didn't have damage from it. We have lots of rain tonight and more forecast for most of the day tomorrow. On a positive note, it will help our new plantings!
Good night everyone. Wishing you comfort, Cal.

Been up and out since 5am.  Here now though, and glad to catch up.  Four new babies WOW!  They are so very cute and hungry.  I just don't know how they squeeze those big bobble heads into those tiny egg shells.
Fell asleep after I had a sandwich and sat down.  Not sure how long I slept.  I do know I need to put away the fixings soon.  Brian called to ask how things went with me getting Odin to school this morning.  I missed his call because I was asleep and did not know where my phone was.  I have a new look by shaving my beard.  Next my head.  Billie said I need to go to Walmart for a head shaver like his.  $60, but thanks to someone last year that's now only two haircuts by my favorite barber.  $60 used to buy five haircuts including my beard, eyebrows, neck, nose, ears, and chest which are are now priced separately at many shops.  Not quite the excess we saw at Campbell's soup up from $.75 to $2.75, but still too much for me to ignore.  I tried just letting all of it grow, but it's all grey and made me look my real age which is excessive too. LOL
You will get better Cal.  You are already swearing at me a little less. My ears are hardly ringing today.
I will go put away my food now.  I will do the puzzle in the morning and post my time.
I think the baby bird visitor from last night got back with her parents.  No sign of her since she flew across the yard.

It's 10:22 here Friday morning.  Going for mail soon.  50 degrees and bright.  Mom and Dad robin are in back yard getting food for the baby that is no doubt nearby.  Tried for pics, but really too far, and when close they were too skittish.  So take my word for it. Please all is probably well with the robins.  I'm glad because I live in a new community with very small trees.  So few birds and nests.  I had to chase some Mourning Doves out of my gutter the other day.  They wanted to nest in the downspout.

I did get to see the various cams.  All seems normal so far.  TV still black.  That's a problem child there.
6:51 on the fisherman in Orange.  I like fishing.
CUL EV1 GBU this morning.  Hope you are Better Cal.  Each day should be a little better for you.

Thanks Cal for posting.  I did the puzzle but lost my time because I was already trying to think what to post before I got done with it.  Was not a record I am sure.  I sent that picture of young Doctor Rogers to Debbie. I have not heard what she thought of it.  She has some pictures of him too from our visit.  There is quite a difference.  I talked to her quite a while today about the Berea Animal Rescue we are both part of.  She is in the dog walker group with how many I don't know, and I was in the Transport Group of 49 people.  She has been active there for several years. I am new.
I did quite a few trips for them.  The last two trips though were canceled after I was on the schedule. With no stated reason other than someone else was going in my stead. This seemed unusual to me so I tried to find out why I was canceled. Still don't know.  I will try another way.  Maybe I will stop and see the new manager who implied that one reason might be that since she had not met me she really did not know my abilities. I offered to meet her by copiloting the two hour vet transport she took from me, but she refused due to "personal things" she had to do that day.  I feel like I have been fired by the rumor mill.  I do not like it.  She is a relatively new manager and seems to be managing by rumor.
Now I can't find anything related to the group on my phone. Before I lost it I saw that several others had left the group.  Debbie says I probably pushed some wrong button, but I did not seek this group.  It just was just there one day on my phone asking me and 48 others, "who can take these dogs to the vet"?  I typed back that I could do that and did.  Several times to different places.  Was fun because I like dogs and cats and I like to drive.  Now the group it is gone.  I think someone at the other end has done both on and off.  There is a lack of organization in this group, and I think I am better off avoiding them until they reorganize.
Meanwhile I agree with John Lowe Cal, if it hurts don't do it!!!  Any professional physical therapist actually with you seeing your pain level would likely tell you the same.
I will leave you all now. GBU

Hi, It's been a really busy past few days for me. One day didn't even turn on laptop.

cal, I'm worried about you and your continued pain. Would you or Jim consider calling your doctor office to speak to the np or even better a doctor to explain your intense pain still and ask for a sooner appointment? Waiting until May 29 seems to long to wait. Just a suggestion. God bless you. You need relief and to feel better.

jo, You continue to keep busy. That's good.

nan, Good the storms missed your area. My heavens PA has had lots of rain!! The drought should be over soon. Rain today the more next week.

My son from NC arrives to visit tomorrow. He and family will be here tomorrow and Sunday. Monday he, Charlie and I are planning to go to cabin till next Wednesday. Just letting you know in case I don't post.

Oh! The first bear arrived at the cabin this morning at 1:28 a.m. The Ring camera took a video of it. Last year there were 4 or 5 different ones.

Night. SED

HiEV1,  Nice bright Saturday morning here.  Not hot yet, but warming slowly.  Will look at cams in a bit.
Cal, we hope you have a good day today.  Will be praying for your comfort and healing.
Paulie, Your Ring shows your bear visitors.  WOW!  You live with bears.  I sure hope they are better behaved than we see on Snowman every night lately.  Yikes!  It would be hard to keep loving them if they often did that to your camp.  Do you have some sort of bear proofing steps you take.
After the terrible tornado went through and tore up his hilltop camp in Tionesta.  My high school friend, Bob Teeple, who had family roots in Althom, installed a nice mobile home right on the river bank there.  I helped clear the site of brush.  He put in a motion sensor that would bark like a big dog.
Now though coffee is getting cold.  Could not find anyone to day trip to Amish today.  So I will just hang around town.  Maybe go fishing and visit the Hungry Bear for lunch.
Lots of people doing their first mowing today. FYI
Odin's big brother Nickolas is 15.  He has started a business of restoring flower beds for people.  He is a go getter.  I shared with him that at his age I did the same thing.  Only difference was his jobs are blocks apart in Sheffield Lake and mine were miles apart in Columbia Station.  I did lots of walking.  We do have comparable blister stories though. LOL
Bye now EV1 GBU
