6:45 here, but I am sleepy too.  Need to cook and eat something.  Then a little Gold Miners.  Then hit the sack.
I will say GN GBU now.  Animal cams are on their own tonight, because the rescue animals wore me out . LOL
Oh well I did just peek at Snow.  Lots of deer and a nice looking raccoon.

Considering what you've been through, Cal, you shared a good report. Please don't overdo and let Jim lend a hand as much as he can. I'm sure all the kids were thrilled to have you back home, and Indy will see you soon. Oh my, what did Melania do!
Jo, glad you're safely settled in at home.
Hi Paulie!
I visited my sister today with my husband, daughter and two grand children. We had a good visit. But after we got home we learned about her CAT scan results - she has cancer in her lungs (primary source) and liver (secondary source). We'll get more details tomorrow. She'll be 66 on May 1. It's been a tough day for our family.
Hope you have restful and peaceful sleep, Cal, now that you're home.
GN, Jo and Paulie.

Dear nan, God bless your sister, you and your family. I have said a prayer for your sister and I will continue to pray. If your want to share more details you learn tomorrow we are here for you. Perhaps her prognosis is good with treatments. She remains in prayers.
I hope you can get some well needed sleep our friend.  :-*

cal, You sound exhausted. With good reason too. Yes I'm worn out too. I did a lot inside and outside today.  You've had a very busy day but I know you're happy to be at home with Jim and your kids.  :)  Sounds painful and that you're pushing through the pain to do exercises. I did read you shouldn't overdo after knee replacement surgery. I'm sure jo knows more about this. I hope your pain pill and muscle relaxer help you tonight. I hope you sleep very very good.

jo, You're sound asleep right now and good! You got up very early to do your good deed for Fuzz the giant cat.  :)

4:44 Thinking of JP and his comments this morning.  God bless him.
Good morning EV1 Nice to see the cat shame and puzzle. Feels almost "normal".  Sorry to hear about all the pain and serious illness.  I will pray more for comfort for sister and for our friend.
Meanwhile Debbie is on sitter duty today for Bash at Mary's while Mary shops for " privacy bushes " whatever that is.  I think her Brazilian hubby is have some home sickness for his childhood home in Rio.  Where they had a pool and I'm guessing, some "privacy bushes".  He really misses the pool.  It will probably lead to them moving to another home where, unlike this home, they can put in a pool.
I looked at Snow.  Nothing there.  later I will go see Bonnie.  Now I need to go get coffee and cereal.  Bye GBU EV1.

Many thanks, dear jewlies, for your kind thoughts and prayers for my sister. I'm sure we'll learn more next week about what can be done. She is unique, funny, very tough, independent, would do anything to help anyone ... and is loved very much. Depending on what transpires, I may not be posting as much, but will check on all of you as often as I can.
Sorry you feel pain, Cal. You knew you'd have it, but still a challenge to deal with it. Good for you doing your bike exercises.
Hi Jo and Paulie! If I'm not back here soon, Happy Easter wishes to each of you!

Hi nan, You're welcome for the prayers of course. They continue too. Your sister sounds like a wonderful person.
You take the time you need, of course, to tend to family. Remember to take care of yourself too. And like cal said . . pop in here to give updates and/or just be among friends.  :-*

Happy Easter to you too, nan.

Hi cal, I've always wondered if the pain after knee replacement is as bad as some say. I would have to be I think. Be sure to take your pain meds. It's nice you have muscle relaxer. Yours must be strong seeing that you're a strong lady. I've heard after two weeks it feels a lot better. Again I have to refer to jo since he's already been through this. Everyone has a different experience I suppose.

Hey! Look at it this way. That surgery is behind you! And yes you're now HOME. YAY! Let your healing begin.  :)
You made me laugh when you said the pain is a pain in the *** Lol

Good you did the three bike exercises. Now I hope you nap, rest and get a better nights sleep tonight.
Sounds like Jim needs a good night's sleep too.

I don't know the link to the snows cam. I'll tell you this. All my inside pets are now in dog, cat, rabbit and bird heaven. My outside crew have kept me busy for years. Birds ..many different kinds and squirrels of course. Some come up onto my deck and take peanuts from my fingers. I have an adorable rabbit that comes right up to me when I take bird seed and mealworms to feeders and also when I take sliced apples and big cut up carrots out to the main feeding area and also throw around the back yard. The apples and carrots are mostly for the deer. I've had herds come here regularly with their little ones. That's thinned out. Lately there's been 4 regular deer coming. 3 doe and pretty sure a buck. A few years ago I had 4 gorgeous bucks together in my feeding area. I call the photo Guys Night Out. It was New Years Eve and I had put the large feeding trough out with diced apples, grapes, carrots. I have trail cam set up to take pictures and sometimes videos. Oh there's a fox that comes around Spring and Summer. Mama fox built a den in bug pile of debris we pile up at the far end of the backyard.  I just got a 50 lb bag of shelled corn. I feed them corn Spring through Autumn then stop. No corn in winter because their digestive systems change in the colder temps.

Oh my I was rambling! Will stop now. Have some more prep to do for Easter meal tomorrow with family coming here.

Very cut Easter photo cal.

jo, Interesting about the Brazilian hubby and pool. Like cal said privacy bushes to line up for privacy. Arborvitae bushes are good for that. I don't like them though because they can be messy.

Yes Messy, and hard to shape.  Boxwood is my choice.
12:20 noone at Snow at all.  Wait, now I se one big deer behind the Snow Rabbit, and the feeder is on the ground.  So I think the bear has been here as usual.  Can't prove it though , because the film strip will not work.  It just keeps shutting itself off.
I am tired now.  GN and GBU  See you all on Easter morning.  I may go to a little country church for a pancake breakfast from 8 to 9:30 tomorrow. That is if I can wake up and remember to go. LOL
