Hi cal, Interesting about the brown dog. I hope he found his way home. Sounds like a nice dog. Yes we had rain and temps here have dropped a lot from 60s and 70. This morning was 19. Ugh! Lots of flowers and trees blooming here already.

Hi jo, My heavens you did have an adventure yesterday! And your comments about hauling a dog to prison and about the mail and weather hilarious. Great sense of humor!

4:34 Good morning. EV1.  Rainy, but not very cold this morning.  Doing wash. Dryer stopped so CUL EV1 I am good.  Hope you are all good too. GBU
OK now clothes all hung from that wrinkle load the whites to be dried are in now.
Denise said the mail is in the box.  Second day in a row for 9ish delivery.  They sent me an email yesterday asking what I would like them to do different.  I asked if they could be more consistent in delivery time.  Hard to believe they got the message and reacted already.  So stay tuned.  Two days does not make a trend. I am hopeful though.

I did have some help from the Post Office recently.  I sent a normal envelope to New York.  It kept coming back to my box.  Three times.  The stamp was not cancelled so I kept putting it in the out box and it would be back in a few days.  I took it to the post office.  The lady looked at it.  She took a black marker and covered up a kind of fine bar code along the bottom in the back.  Then put it in the out going.  She said it had gone through the sorter upside down and backwards so the real address did not show.  So the machine did not know where to send it. It worked.  I got the $15 in about a week.
Funny thing is I sent another plain envelope to the same address, and it came back too.  I was paranoid about this because it happened twice, and was for a refund of money from my eye glass insurance.  This was for an exam in December.  After I got bills for the exam for the first time I started calling around to find out why.  That took a while. Earlier I called them.  They said we will send forms. You get details and send back.  They took weeks sending forms.  So, being paranoid, I thought they had moved, or in some way were just delaying my refund.  I know that is what insurance companies do.  Delay, delay, delay.  The Cleveland Clinic once turned me over for collection on a bill I did not even know about because the insurance company took more than ninety days to pay.
OK off the soapbox now. Dryer is near done and I should fold my socks and stuff.  So again for the day,   Over and OUT.   GBU EV1 New corn at Snow.  Man hid while putting out the corn at about 8am.

I agree, Cal, that I hope I can make it without any more surgery. Even when things go well it's still a pain in the neck (and/or in other places!). I know you'll be very anxious to get back to all your kids!

It is 10:20 pm eastern time and there are three or four porcupines on the table and a big raccoon under the feeder now.  Just fyi Looks like it may be a family of porkies. Live stream still not working on TV in Missouri. There are really four porkies, and they are fighting over the last bit of corn on the table. Or maybe Mom is trying to wean them.  They are making a lot of odd noises i have not heard before.
So, Now I will say GN and GBU.

Hi Jo.
I just read your message from yesterday, Cal, and then saw that you haven't posted yet today. You'd better be okay! I hope your sweet Odie is better after your TLC, and not worse this morning! You always have so much to do! I think there are probably other long-distance friends here who care about you, but not everyone posts. So lots of people rooting for you. I'm not a prolific poster anymore.
I have 6 framed pictures of Mom, Dad, and the kids from a few of my visits to Decorah. One of them, of just Mom and Dad, is on my piano right near my desk. It's during a late April snowstorm. I didn't know it when I took the screenshot, but it was just a couple of days before Dad disappeared. His last day on the nest was April 18, 2018. I cried and cried over that sad situation. Mom sure was amazing, though, caring for the kids alone.
Check in when you can.

hi Nan.
Yes Cal, lots of us are concerned.  When you can we would like to hear from even if it's bad news. So we can support you.  Meantime I am praying for you to have the strength needed for your day.
Nan, do I remember Mom and Dad side by side under a lot of snow?  I recall the first time I saw an eagle covered in lots of snow on a nest.  It was impressive. She shook it all off without a speck
 touching the eggs.

I thought you might have been busy with Odie, Cal, but get nervous anyway. I hope both you and Odie sleep well. You surely seem to work miracles with your kids! Thanks for checking in. Get lots of rest!

God Bless You and Odie Cal.  Prayers for his comfort are going out.  Prayers for your strength and tolerance too.  Bike man Got to share some of your doggy experience I guess.  Only he was on the receiving end of their attitude.  Gotta love them for just doing their job.
Not much right now at Snow.  I can hardly see it, but I think there is a porky back of the head.
Really odd fog bank covered the river at GSB this morning.  I had a good experience taking Kruger back to ARF.
Then I made an arrangement to take one cat to TGL of Thursday.  One driver offered to go along to show me the way the other day.  I called her and she agreed to go with me on Thursday.  We were all set.  Later at about 8:30 she texts that she want me to switch from Thursday to Friday .  Another driver had said she would do Friday, but no Margaret, my guide, now wants me to go Friday and have Barbara go Thursday instead of me.  She did not say why.  Well then I asked her if she and Barbara had considered that Friday next is Good Friday, and all that it entails.  No she said.  I told her I would go Friday so she could go with me.
There are 48 people in the Transport Group.  They all see every text message.  It is hard to get into trip details without displaying my ignorance in public.  It is much easier on the phone.
Plus I woke up very early again, and with driving dogs around I missed my nap.
Now I will say GN and GBU my friends.

hi you guys its i think like 49 bubba on my lap watching me type the letters no bubba cant get on my desk odie did not go right to sleep he was crying so i got backup went over to him he would not eat or drink i gave him fluids cleaned him up  so finally i got blankets for a bed on my bed right next to my head and i put up odie there my tabby cat she has to lay next to my head too but on the other side and her kid eastern she lays by me too same side as her mom but farther down my old meanie boy has to lay next to me too in my kitty cluster and i could pet odies head he finally went to sleep it is now almost 9 pm i got up at 2 am did odie first then dogs out barn etc now in here then back to odie

hi nan i dont always get a miracle i am praying for one with odie but really i have my doubts about jim caring him i will see if he can do the fluids cause odie not wanting to drink at all. he ate little baby food i did two syringes and giving him water with a syringe shooting water in his mouth  i am going to change antibiotics soon as i get off here. he still sounds raspy.my gut hurts i am wreck about this surgery. i have to get down on the floor to do odie says not to kneel with new knee i will kinda kneel then roll to my side i do that now at times cause my knee hurts or put odie on my bed but i will still have to get down so i hope the knee will bend enough for that even if i got pain at least bend for odie. i took that baby aspirin said to take them for 4 days before surgery have to move my feet back and forth all the time after surgery when i am awake wear those hose sound like huge risk of blood clot never had to worry before about that couldnt even get a late surgery time that would of helped do my surgery  at 3 pm that would be better

hi joho yes i was mad at jim getting on my dogs doing what they do protect me. they never see  strangers much so they are aggressive when they were outside and justin came to mow in the  pasture behind indys and he got off his tractor to open those gates dogs went nuts i could not get them back in justin hurried up and got tractor going out.  jim said they cant get in the living room and i said oh yes they can if someone is threating to them those big dogs climb right over that gate  so then jim ya your probably right never have them in when someone is coming over when he picks that bike up dogs be out and stay out or jim hope you are at work. that robo man was so nice he got it set up explain to me that if it got moved set back on 9 he put down maker i am a 9 cause is am 5 5 tall and he said never unplug it center it with that chair he has it set in front of he put a big tag with phone number any problems he said call it. did you guys get that cat to TGL friday?

odie needs me gotta go
