Hi Jewelies!  Pretty, sunny day here, high 60's.  I'm feeling better today, haven't coughed much and only sneezed a couple of times.  I've been trying to get my work done, since I won't be home all day tomorrow.  I AM going to the competition this week.  It's going to be farther away than last week, so probably be an all day deal.  Bus leaves at 8am, and we'll probably follow it.

Nora... Geez, what a day yesterday!  So good that the anesthesiologist was a good one and caught Joe's heart issues before the surgery started!  I'm sorry you and Joe have to go through this, but it's a good thing you're finding out now, instead of later.  You'll be in our thoughts, for sure!  Say hi to Joe for me, and get better soon.

cal... Are you ready for some baseball?  lol   Supposed to be football, isn't it?  Clemson plays in North Carolina tomorrow, NC State.  They're the last unranked team that beat us... in 2011 I think.  Who does KState play?  Hope it's an easier team this week!  How's your toe?

JP... Better lay off that weed a little!  lol  Those fries looked good this morning!  I liked McDonald's fried better before they started using the "good" oil.  lol  You know me... the worse it is for me, the more I like it!  I'm also a Santana fan.

Hi Jo, willi, and everyone else!

I need to get better!  I'm spending too much time shopping sitting here on the couch so much!!  Although, I've got a real good start on my Christmas shopping now! lol  I asked my grands if they'd rather just get money from me, and they said NO!!  They like me picking out stuff for them... I think that's a compliment!   :D

Hi guys, I'm doing fine.  Sparky is sort of moping and when we come in from outside he goes and looks for his "dad", but otherwise things are going ok here and in LaCrosse the last I heard.  Now if Sparky would quit barking at every little thing he hears!!

That's great you have a good start on your Christmas stuff.  Of course the grands said no to money, it's more fun opening a present!  ;)

Thanks on the hug for Joe, Willi.

Santana will be doing a show here in Tucson tomorrow night  (10/31).  I like him, but won't be going, unfortunately.

Prayers for you and Joe, Nora.  It is good that they found out about the condition of those arteries before things got very much worse for him.  Finding out in time is a blessing.

A nice looking lady bear, Lily

Well, we are assured of at least two more baseball games.  Last night's game was not a close one like the first game.  Those are the games I really like.

Nora, my prayers are with Joe, you and Sparky.  It was God's grace that the scheduled surgery was the action that discovered the circulation situation in time to correct it.  I hope he gets home today.

Late night due to the game so I am going back to bed.  Before I do, However:

Lily and Cubs Safe in a Den - UPDATE October 30, 2015

Frankie, Lily's cub
Frankie, Lily's cub
The news is short but big. We found Lily and her cubs safe in a den today. The picture is of Lily?s biggest cub, taken from a distance. We named him Frank after my dentist, who is big. As a cub, though, Frankie sounds more fitting. His brother and sister are Fred (Freddie) and Fran (Frannie). We are excited. We?ll see what comes of this. We will continue to check known dens.

Thank you for all you do.

Good gracious, Once I got the frame done and the two white fangs, all the pieces were identical.  I had to trial and error and it took me 7:32.

Hi Cal!  I'll have to tackle that puzzle later when I have more time!! Going to Robin's in a bit to watch her treat the ghosts and goblins! Lol on Rios and his googles!  :D See we aren't the only ones! :D Last night we drove 2 hours to see The Pumpkin House in Kenova, WV! They have over 3000 carved pumpkins all over their house and property! It was amazing. I'll post a couple pics I took later. Crow is having a hard time getting the pics out of my phone and downloaded into my laptop. It works on his desktop but for some reason my laptop is being stubborn!

Nora, so sorry to hear about Joe. That was scary stuff!  Hope he gets to come home today. I can remember telling Crow several times when he was hospitalized to try real hard to PEE! Sparky misses his daddy, I know how that goes! Take care!

Ra, hope your cheerleaders are bringing home a trophy and that you are feeling better!

Be back later!
