Hello to all Jewelies.  It is so hot.  Yesterday was 106.  Today, not so hot, but still hot.  Be forewarned, I am sure it will blow eastward.

Watched NCIS tonight and am thrilled with the new season. Yes, it is weird without Tony, but have always liked the woman who plays Agent Quinn, and I think the other actor is a good addition, too. Gibbs looks happy. Last season, I thought he looked tired--his eyes looked weary. Rues, I'm glad you've been having this wonderful weather, too. Dlong, I'll bet you'd like to have the surgery tomorrow to get on the road to relief. Jp, I hope you treated yourself to a special meal yesterday.

Everything seems good this morning.  We had almost solid rain yesterday but I don't think that will be the case today.  I have to go to the dentist for a cleaning.  I  don't like that.

rues, yes, I watch NCIS but I was watching a baseball game.  What I do is watch it today with On-Demand with  Comcast.

The Four Bears - UPDATE September 27, 2016

Holly might have stayed in the big bunker den with Lucky all day. Nobody saw either of them on this rainy day.

Staff wondered where Tasha was and found her at a favorite bedding site toward the back of the big enclosure. She heard the voices of a Behind-The-Scenes tour at 2:15 PM and showed up for that before disappearing for the rest of the day.

Big Ted ate the most, eating breakfast and dinner but not lunch.

Samantha and her four cubs spent the night but disappeared about dawn. The next bear to show was an adolescent male at about 6:30 PM. Nothing through the day.



Pine Marten

The clean-up crew of blue jays, mallards, and crows was joined briefly a few times by the pine marten.

Oh no eaglette, it got to 106 out!   Those bear pictures and captions were to cute yesterday, thanks.  Loved the wet cub.

DLong with the surgery the first of November you should have a great Christmas!

Sorry about your dental cleaning JP!  I hate those too.  But just think, you have your own teeth!!!!

Bei Bei has such neat eyes, you can just look right into them.

Hi! JP! You're so welcome!    No, it is not Mom or Dad Decorah, her name is Elsa and she is from a nest about 30 miles from me that we found and follow! Her partner's name is Alex and they had two chick's this year and they successfully fledged! God is good!

Obsver, I had myself convinced that I wouldn't like Michael Weatherly's new show, Bull, but I find that I love it! Lol! I remember the new girl on NCIS, Agent Quinn, when she played Detective Jackie Curatola on Blue Bloods. We had another nice day today. It was 42 when I got up this morning!
